AKATSI SOUTH: ATIDEFE FOUNDATION LAUNCHES YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FORUM

Akatsi South: Atidefe Foundation annually distributes free coconut seedlings to farmers and residents within the Akatsi South Municipality. As part of this effort, they have planned to launch the AF YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FORUM, 2025.

According to the Founder and Chairman of ATIDEFE FOUNDATION Hon Thomas Yao Atidefe, the youths need personal development. The youth empowerment forum is an avenue to meet and interact with them. This helps to direct and empower them to achieve their goals in life.

“I believe in the power of Youthfulness. The youths hold a great future. They need proper engagement through the Youth Empowerment Forum. This forum will suggest, guide, lead, and empower them to achieve their goals”

He continued that, the forum will feature interactive sessions with seasoned professionals. These experts come from governance, academia, and entrepreneurship. They will supply participants with practical knowledge and mentorship opportunities.

Hon. Thomas Yao Atidefe added that the program is expected to draw participation from students. It will also involve youth groups, community leaders and development partners.

“This year’s forum seeks to inspire and inform the youth. It aims to equip them with the tools and knowledge necessary to pursue meaningful career paths. We are assembling distinguished resource personnel from government, academia, and industry to share their skill and practical experiences. The goal is to foster a spirit of innovation, resilience, and proactive engagement among the young participants”.

He mentioned that he is very certain. There will be a positive transformation among the participants. It will happen at the end of the program.

As the vision bearer, Mr. Atidefe urged everyone in and around Akatsi South Municipality to attend this important Forum. It will take place on SATURDAY 26TH JULY, 2025 AT AKATSI RC PARK AT 9 : 00AM.

In a concluding remark, Hon. Thomas Yao Atidefe, thanked the members of Atidefe Foundation National Executive Committee (AFNEC) and Atidefe Foundation Functional Executive Committee (AFFEC). He also thanked Avenor Traditional Council for supporting this crucial initiative.
